Popular messaging application WhatsApp is also working to be the best in the sector in order to provide the finest experience for its users, as it is about to release a new feature that allows users to search for nearby businesses using the WhatsApp business directory feature available in the application, WABetaInfo reported.

According to WABetaInfo, six months ago, WhatsApp introduced the business directory feature as a way to quickly find new business accounts without leaving the app. This feature is expected to be rolled out globally very soon. It is being released to some users in Sao Paulo.
WhatsApp has already started working on another option for the business directory feature. It will enable users to search for nearby businesses. It is pertinent to mention that if you search on WhatsApp, the messaging application shows different results, including Photos, Videos, Links, GIFs, Audio, and Documents.

If you search for something on WhatsApp, the social app shows different categories, including Photos, Videos, Links, GIFs, Audio and Documents. Look above, for example.Â
Another category ‘Business Nearby’ will now also appear along with the above-mentioned categories. If you select this category, all the business accounts near your location will appear on your screen.
The feature will be released for both Android and iOS users. The platform has not announced any release date.Â
